Meet Our Committee

Having been involved in football for 40 years as both a player and manager, Pesk has many years of experience in the game.

He is a FA qualified coach and started Corpus Christi FC 21 years ago with his family (CCFC05 GROUP) before converting the club to a junior football club in 2017.

Pesk has been a season ticket holder at Wolves in the South Bank for 33 years, and played from the age of 7 until 32 when injuries forced early retirement

His aim is to see every player improve and smile and spends every spare minute trying to improve the club and the players within.

Pesk says " 

Corpus Christi Juniors FC is much more than a football club to me — it is part of my family’s history and something that has been part of our lives for over 20 years.

The club was originally formed in 2005 by me and my family as a men’s football team, which I also proudly played for. My Mom, Dad, Nan and Grandad have all been involved with the club over the years, making Corpus Christi a true family club from the very beginning.

In 2017, we started a new chapter by converting Corpus Christi into a junior football club, giving young players the opportunity to enjoy football, develop their ability, make friendships and proudly represent the Corpus Christi name.

As Chairman and Club Owner, I’m incredibly proud of how far we have come. My ambition is to continue growing the club while never losing the family values, community spirit and togetherness that have been at the heart of Corpus Christi since 2005.

Corpus Christi isn’t just a football club to me — it’s my family, my history and a legacy I’m incredibly proud to continue."

Kim has an extensive administrative background in her profession working in education for many years.

She is meticulous in what she does and keeps the club's admin on point.

As CWO Kim has a very important role to play.

As Secretary she keeps all staff up to date with training and courses we need to complete. As well as attending meetings

Keeps the club ticking over from a administrative side.

Kim says -  

"I feel extremely proud to be part of the Corpus Christi Juniors FC team as both Club Welfare Officer and Club Secretary. I’ve spent over 30 years working in the education sector, with 24 of those years working in schools, so supporting children and young people has been a very important part of my working life.

As Club Welfare Officer, I’m passionate about making sure every child at Corpus Christi Juniors FC feels welcome, valued and included. I’m here to support our players, parents, managers and the Committee and to be someone people can approach if they have a concern, a question or simply need someone to talk to. The welfare and safety of everyone at Corpus Christi Juniors FC will always be at the heart of what I do.

As Club Secretary, I help with the day-to-day administration of the club, working alongside our committee, managers and league officials to help keep everything running smoothly. For me, football is about much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about having fun, making friends, building confidence, learning teamwork and creating positive memories that children can take with them.

I feel very fortunate to be part of the Corpus Christi Juniors FC family and always endeavour to make the club a place where every child can feel safe, have fun, develop and thrive, both on and off the pitch."

Karen is fantastic with numbers and keeps the finances in check, she also goes above and beyond and has a great working relationship with Debbie, whether its raising money or organising events, this double act is hard to come by.

Another member of staff who puts in the extra hours for the children and a huge part of the club's central fund.

Karen says - " I'm proud to be part of the club committee and to serve as Club Treasurer. I'm passionate about grassroots football and the important role local clubs play in bringing players, families and communities together.

As treasurer, I help ensure the club's finances are managed responsibly and transparently, while supporting the committee in making decisions that benefit the club and its members. I'm committed to helping the club continue to grow, remain sustainable and, most importantly, provide a positive environment for everyone involved."

Craig is also an FA qualified coach, his passion for grassroots football should be commended. He and Dan have done a tremendous job with our under 13s Rangers team and he is very thorough with his training drills.

He is also Assistant to Pesk with our under 17s Juniors team and a very valued member of  staff. 

Craig says- " As a committee, we are always looking to help, improve and support every single one of our teams and our amazing players. Grassroots football can give long lasting memories and it's a pleasure to be involved in a club that makes this a priority and puts it at the forefront of all we do. It's an important role, but also an extremely fulfilling one, and seeing all of our teams develop and grow gives us all a special feeling. This club really is one of a kind."

Alan is a Headteacher who has been involved in school football for over 25 years.

He is passionate about developing grassroots football and giving children the opportunity to enjoy the game, develop their skills and experience being part of a team.

A lifelong , die-hard Sheffield Wednesday fan, football has always played a huge part in Alan's life including playing as frequently as possible too. He joined the Corpus Christi Juniors committee to help the club grow and provide the best possible experience for it's young players and families.

Shaun brings a wealth of experience in youth football, education and club development to the Corpus Christi Juniors FC committee.

Having served as a Club Secretary for five years and as a manager for one year, Shaun has a strong understanding of the organisation, commitment and teamwork required to help a grassroots football club thrive. He has also previously managed Bentley FC Under-15s, giving him valuable experience in coaching and supporting young players as they develop both on and off the pitch.

Shaun is also a parent of a child within our Under-10s, giving him a personal connection to the club and a real understanding of the experience of players and families within our football community.

With a strong youth development ethos, Shaun is passionate about creating opportunities for our young players to learn, improve and enjoy their football. As part of his role with the club, Shaun will be starting a dedicated Youth Development Programme, designed to support the continued development of our players and help provide a clear pathway for their future within football.

Outside of football, Shaun works as a Campus Manager in a secondary school, where he brings valuable experience in leadership, safeguarding, organisation and working with young people.

Shaun is committed to helping Corpus Christi Juniors FC continue to grow as a positive, inclusive and development-focused football club, with the needs and enjoyment of our young players at the heart of everything we do. 

Lee brings six years of grassroots football management experience, having previously coached through to the U14 age group before taking charge of the Corpus Christi U9s last season. Now leading the Corpus Christi U10s, Lee is joined by his son, Josh, as Assistant Coach, and his daughter as Goalkeeper Coach. Together, their family-led coaching team is dedicated to fostering player development, teamwork, and a positive environment for the upcoming season." 

Lee's family led approach is what the club is all about.
